The traditional Chinese concept of the relationship between children and their parents doesn't go as far as the Western world would go to express our love directly. We are more subtle in our expressions of love, and in 2020 I worked with JD Health on a Mother's Day comic.
The comic tells the story of a day spent with a daughter and her mother, with interesting details that reflect the realities of China today, and which will resonate with the readers.
